My Library Account
What is "My Library Account"?
"My Library Account", also called "My Bistro", is an online service that allows you to
- view checkouts and holds
- renew materials
- place, suspend, or cancel holds
- change your PIN
- update your contact information.
Under the "Ask Us" function you can
- place an interlibrary loan request
- recommend titles for purchase
- send a message to a librarian
- access live reference help.

How do I access "My Library Account"?
You will need either your library card number or an ALT I.D., and a PIN.
- Your library card number can be found under the bar code on your library card.
- Your alternate ID was assigned to your account when you sign up for your library card.
- You chose a PIN when you signed up for your library card.
If you have trouble locating or remembering any of these items, contact the library.
How do I set up "My Library Account"?
- Click on "My Library Account" on the left hand navigation panel.
- Enter your complete library barcode number (without spaces) in the "CARD #" box, or your ALT I.D. in the "OTHER" box.
- In the "PIN" box enter the PIN number you chose when you got your library card. Click "LOGIN."
- A new screen will appear. From here you can review your account, renew materials, change your PIN number, or even notify us of a change of address or phone number See below for details.
Review My Account This will bring up a list of everything currently checked out on your record, along with its due date.
Renew My Materials
This will bring up a list of items eligible for renewal. To renew an item, click on the box next to the title. Then click on the light blue bar at the bottom that says "RENEW SELECTED ITEMS." It will then bring up a screen with the new due date. If for some reason it did not renew, it will give you a reason.
User PIN Change If you want to change your PIN number, click on this box. Enter your new PIN number in the appropriate box. Then re-enter it and click "CAHNGE PIN."
Change Your Address To change your address, fill in each box with the new information and click on "SEND."
Place A Hold To place a hold on an item:
- Click on "FULL DETAILS."
- Click on "PLACE HOLD" in the "KEEP" box on the left.
- Fill in the "USER ID" and "PIN" boxes.
- Click on "PLACE HOLD," then on "OK."
