Special Events

Check out the Events page and our Facebook page for an up-to-date listing of

special children’s programs throughout the year, including guest presenters,

the summer reading program and seasonal events.  Previous presentations include Star Tour, Doc Wild, Animal Wonders, Missoula Smokejumpers, Abraham Lincoln, Smokey the Bear, Bat Honey Puppeteers, Clarkfork-Bitterroot Search Dogs and many more!

We believe in the importance of fun and playing!  Although our library is small, we have tried to include as many toys and activities as possible.  Our PlaySpace contains a puppet theater, funded by Montana State Library's Ready2Read project and the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation.  We also have a huge set of

building blocks, a dollhouse, a coloring station and assorted toys.

Kids’ Computers

We have two computers reserved for kids (12 and under) in the Children’s Room.

These have internet access and a variety of age appropriate children’s games and educational activities.
