Welcome to the North Valley Public Library website.

The North Valley Public Library is Montana's first independent library district. It is supported by a property tax mill levied on the residents of the Stevensville and Lone Rock school districts and collected by Ravalli County.

The North Valley Public Library is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees elected by the voters of the Stevensville and Lone Rock school districts. The Board meets in the Library's Community Room at the library once a month; meetings are open to the public. (Calendar of Events)
