Library Foundation Seeks Board Members

The nonprofit NVPL Foundation, which raises money to support the library and its programs, is seeking new members to join our board. Duties include attending the foundation board meeting once each month and helping at various fundraising events throughout the year. These include our Birdies for Books golf tournament each summer, Business Battle for Books winter fundraiser, and Brews for Books pint nights at local breweries. Board members also participate in community events such as Stevensville's Scarecrow Festival (fall), Country Christmas (winter), Western Heritage Days and Creamery Picnic (both summer), and a regional nonprofit fair (spring).

There are no residency requirements to serve on the NVPL Foundation board, but members must be able to attend board meetings the first Thursday evening of each month (either virtually via Zoom or at the Stevensville library).
