The North Valley Public Library strives to meet accessibility guidelines as described in the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v2.2 conformance level AA.
Send a email to circ@northvalleylibrary.org to resolve any accessibility issues with the North Valley Public Library website. North Valley Public Library will provide effective communication of any information you are unable to access due to a barrier upon receipt of your email.
Accessibility Plug-ins and Viewers
Adobe Acrobat: Use Adobe Acrobat to read Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
Microsoft Word: Microsoft offers Doc Viewer and other converter programs to enable those who do not have Word to open and view Word files.
Microsoft Excel: XLS Opener is free to enable those who do not have Excel to view Excel files.
Microsoft PowerPoint: Microsoft offers PPTX Viewer to enable those who do not have PowerPoint to view PowerPoint files.
Accessible Programming
Any person who wishes to make an accommodation request for a disability in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act in order to access Library meetings, services, programs, or activities may file a written statement with the Library’s ADA compliance coordinator, or any member of the Library staff at 406-777-5061 or by e-mail at circ@northvalleylibrary, no fewer than five (5) working days prior to the event. (Upon request, the Library will provide alternate means for filing a request, such as a personal interview, tape, or digital recording, to a person with a disability.)
